So after thinking about it, I've come up with some ideas for stories that Disney can do in the upcoming years, and I'd love to know what you all think. Okay, first up...Amaterasu And Susanoo, about a Japanese goddess who is in constrant strive with her conniving brother, Susanoo. With Disney's second Black or "colored" princess (yes, I'll always consider Kida from Atlantis: The Lost Empire to be the first "colored" princess), I think it would be very good idea to continue to diversify their Disney Princess line. A first start would be to include a Japanese princess, since we already sort of have a Chinese princess through Mulan.

Another story that Disney can animate is one of the epics from India in their Hindu mythology. I think Disney can do very well with a Hindu Indian princess too!

I LOVE India and it's culture! It's just so rich and deep and...spiritual. I'd love to see a story from them one day.
Up next is a story that I hold very dear to my heart. It's The Snow Queen. Ever since I could remember, I loved this story....it's deep meaning, it's characters...everything. Not to mention the Snow Queen really scared me.

And last but not least, another story I'd LOVE for Disney to do is Rumplestilskin. Nobody can tell me they've never heard of this heartwarming tale of a mother's love and a father's pride. It's a lovely tale of what can happen if you boast too much. You can check it out here:

And those are my picks. If anyone has any other suggestions on what other stories they can do 2D films on, don't be shy...share them with me!
Okay, now that's over with, I do have a bit of movie reviews!!
Next up is Terminator: Salvation. Now it's been quite a while since I've seen the other Terminator movies, so I don't know if I can say if this was better or worse than the others, but...it was certainly interesting. It started off pretty strong..perhaps a little TOO strong. It was kind of hard to follow, but as the movie went along, you kind of got it. The new John Conner...I can he was a lot more hard core than in previous movies, which I can understand in the world he lives in years in the future. I was glad that there wasn't too much cut and editing, and the scenes were pretty much smooth and ongoing. Not too much graphics either, which made it more relatable. You really had a sense of desperation from the characters, and you see what toll the war has on everyone. I enjoyed it..but I'm not sure if it was better than the first ones. Of course, there's a AWESOME cameo there that if you use your imagination, you'll know who it is.
That's about it for now. I'll definitely be back with more reviews and movie previews. And if you're keeping up with The Princess And The Frog, the official website has been updated. Check it out:

There isn't much up now, but I'm sure there will be over time. Thanks for stopping by folks, and as always, please drop by the gallery and let me know what you think of everything.

Also I tink Amaterasu has a great story that could turn into a very creative idea and be a very inventive movie especially with all this 3D stuff coming out into theatres now.
I think next they are working on something called the Bear and the Bow...? But I don't know if that was a Pixar idea they never went through with or what. I saw it on a blog lol. But it looked like a folk tale type of story and animation.
I hope they do more 2D animation. I can't wait for this movie.
2D animation is a dying art, and the at of clay animation already went extinct.
I do want to see Star Trek movie but I'm waiting for DVD as always.
Ah, during my peak interest in Star Trek, I did meet with the original actress of Uhura and obtained her autograph.
Have fun!
