Happy belated Halloween everyone! I hope all the little kiddies got their delicious candy and did their little mischief, just like I used to do at Halloween! Anywayz, I just wanted to let everyone know that I do have a few more Dark Fires pics up, incase you're interested.....*hears chirping crickets in the background* Okay...incase you're NOT interested. At any rate, please take a look and let the artist know what you think, okay? ;)

Alright, are there any Sailor Moon fans still left? Or maybe some new Sailor Moon fans? There's a BIG Sailor Moon news announcement that I thought you all might be interested in. From what I got from it when I read it, it seems as though Toei Animations..the company that first broadcast Sailor Moon in Japan and countless other animes, has gone into the Video On Demand business that might expand into America and even Europe. They held a poll on which animes their subscribers would want to see On Demand. Sailor Moon was on the list, and it got the most votes hands down...with Digimon coming in at a close second. If you want to read for yourself, you can go here: [link]

Personally, I think this is AWESOME news, as it will mean that Sailor Moon will have a sort of "second life" and reach a whole new generation of fans and watchers. I may have moved on from Sailor Moon and not as big of a fan as I used to be when I was younger, but if it means that Sailor Moon will live on so that others can enjoy it, then I'm completely for it! :w00t!: :giggle:

Also, in the music business...incase anyone hasn't heard...the Spice Girls are back! :boogie: Okay, hate them or love them, I have to admit the Spice Girls was a big part of my life when I was little, and I very much enjoyed their songs. In a way, they showed me that no matter what you  look like or your background, you can be a very strong, smart, and talented woman in a world dominated by men. They're on tour now, and have a new video out. If you haven't seen it yet, you can check it out here: [link]

It's a new look and a new sound for them, and I'm really happy for them that they can pull this off. :) Well, that's about it for me, until next time. Oh, wait...before I go, I do have one questions. Is it just me, or are some of the artists here on Deviant Art absolute snobs that ignores people? Now, I'm not going to name names...these artists know who they are, but I think it's absolutely immature, degrading, spiteful, irresponsible to treat people like that. Yes, I can understand that as an artist, people will pester you alot with demands and asking you the same questions over and over and over and over again, but that doesn't mean that you have to treat other people like trash. There's much better ways to deal with people who pester and annoy you, without making true fans who ask legitimate questions and just want to say how much they love your work suffer. Yes, your work here is popular and you have alot of admirers, but let's face it....you are NOT God's gift to people, okay, so stop acting like it!! :slap: Okay, let me get off that before I REALLY start ranting. :paranoid: Take care everyone, and I'll be back! :bye:

Yes, I have just started hearing such rumors about Sailor Moon being given a second chance. It would be nice if they can get English version of Sailor Moon be updated (and fix any mistakes). :aww:
:? I think I have heard of "Spice Girls" somewhere and some time ago... oh well, :shrugs:
DA admintration moved my Rukia's Bankai fanart to the Scraps and it doesn't belong there. :upset: I moved it back to where it belongs to. I hope they don't do that again...

Yeah, I was excited when I read about it too. Anime is getting to be so popular here in America, it just makes sense that it would do well On Demand. :) Heh, don't worry about it, Spice Girls only appeals to certain audiences. ^^; Hmmm...I've never heard of Rukia's Bankai...I'll look it up. Sorry they moved it.

Rukia is black-haired Shingami from Bleach and I thought that it would be fun for Rukia to draw what sort of Banaki (advanced power) she dreams to have. :D Yes, Anime is getting popular, slowly but surely. :aww: There are still some resistance mainly due to culture and "cartoons are for children" bias which is kind of funny when you take in the fact that 1930s cartoons were made for adults....

Really? 1930's cartoons were for adults? Didn't know that! ^^; I do remember watching an original 1930's cartoon of Mickey Mouse. Oh cool, I'd love to see that pic of that Bleach charactet! :) Let me know when it's done.

Yes, the only place they can cartoons were threaters. The adult would pay a dime to go in and enjoy good laughs. :aww: If you compare today's cartoons to those of 1930s-1950s, you can see that older cartoons included some rather suggestive references.

I already finished that fanart and here's the link:

Wow, really? Adult suggestive references in 1930's cartoons? Who would have thought? And to think that time was suppose to be an "innocent" time. ^^; I saw the fanart, and I loved it! Thank God there's someone who's art is as bad as mine!
