Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. Hey everyone!

I hope you're all ready for the Summer time, because I certainly am! I had a pretty rough year...what with my demanding job and being sick and all, so I thought that this Summer, I'd just take it easy. No trips, no big shopping spree...just relaxation.

Although I MIGHT go to Six Flags Great Adventures..we'll see.

For Mother's Day, I celebrated by taking my mom to dinner. I know, not much, but it's the least I can do for everything she's sacrificed for me and my brothers to have a better life here in America.

Okay, enough with me. Now, unless you've been living under a rock, you already know that the official trailer for the upcoming Disney movie, The Princess And The Frog, has premiered!

It looks awesome! Tiana looks like she'll fit right in with the other Princesses. She's got attitude, beauty, and strength that you can easily see.

Also in the news is the soundtrack to The Princess And The Frog. It sounds like it's going to be quite the musical with awesome songs and catchy lyrics. Here's a preliminary list of the songs in the movie so far:

1) Down In New Orleans- performed by the woman who voices Tiana instead of Dr. John. It's just the first few lines, then the movie starts.

2) Opening Song (again) - the full version, now performed by Dr. John. Big, big band with lots of swank.

3) "Almost There" - Tiana's solo.

4) "I Got Friends On The Other Side" - Villain's song (Dr. Facilier)

5) "Almost There" (reprise)

6) "When I'm Human..." - a song for the alligator Louie

7) A song for Ray- zydeco style.

8) Another song for Ray, this time more of a romantic ode to the stars.

9) "Dig A Little Deeper" - sung by Mama Odie

10) The Opening song gets a reprisal at the end as well.

I just love the dark colors and how you can see all of the primary characters. I hope there's more to come.

More news and articles on The Princess And The Frog can be found on Disneylicious, a fansite created for Disney movies. I'm just so glad that despite the complaints from negative people, more people that them are really looking forward to this, as am I. So take THAT complainers!!

Disney and Disney Princesses!!! This movie looks so awesome!!! I'm so glad that there's finally a black princess! And I'm so glad that the song list is out!!! I'm going to listen to them right now. I grew up with Disney Princesses, and I'm really happy that Disney is doing this kind of movie again!

Well, I consider Kida from "Atlantis: The Lost Empire" to be the first Black Disney princess, but since Tiana will be the first Black AMERICAN princess, she'll be a big step too.

I just can't wait, Tiana and Naveen are going to rock, and those complainers and whiners can totally suck it when it does well!

Yes, she is.

But hopefully this will pave the way for more diverse Disney Princesses...like a Japanese Princess, for instance, since there is a sort of Chinese "princess" through Mulan.

I'm pretty sure there's lots of Japanese mythology and folktales they can use.
