Hey people, greetings from the land of the dead. :aww: Okay, okay, land of the HALF dead. ^^; Yes, I'm still alive and kicking. Wow, it's hard to believe it's been a MONTH since I last updated. Where the HELL did the time go? :paranoid: Summer is too short in my opinion. I say we all get together and force Congress and other governments of the world to declare Summer from June until...let's see....NOVEMBER! :laughing: I know, I know, like THAT'S gonna happen. :roll: Anyway, I have to say I had a pretty nice Summer. I went on vacation to the Caribbean to visit family and friends. I had a great time. Even though my family are from various countries over seas, including England, Ireland, and even China as the rumor in my mom's family goes, I consider myself Caribbean because...well, I was born there. :aww: My parents visited on St. Thomas shortly after they got married, and they loved it so much, they stayed, and I was born there. :giggle: Like I said, I had an amazing time. :D I just can't believe Summer is just about done. *sighs* Oh well, c'est la vie. :shrug:

Well, I don't have much else to update...since ALL my stories are here already, and I don't draw. Nor have I gotten much fanart yet. ^^; Come on guys, I know you're all out there! I'm still accepting fanart, so humor me, okay? PLEASE :pray: But I do A LOT of movie news and trailers! :clap:

Okay, first of, I got to see The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor. I have to admit, it wasn't the BEST movie out there, but it was still very entertaining. It was much better than the disaster that was The Mummy Return. *shudders* The location and scenery in The Dragon Emperor was pretty cool, and it made me very interested in the Chinese country and culture. :nod: I also enjoyed some of the special effects. As for the acting...well, it could have been better. Brandon Frasier didn't look too happy to be back in his role as Rick O'Connell. ^^ But in all, a pretty cool movie. Not the best, but cool.

I'm pretty sure you've all heard by now that Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince is coming out soon. I for one am still SOMEWHAT of a Harry Potter fan, and it'll be interesting to see how the book translated to film. From what I've seen and read, it's much darker than the previous Harry Potter films. Also, although Hermione and Ron aren't exactly my fave or choice couple, I still like them and accept that they end up together, just as I do Harry and Ginny, (who aren't exactly my fave either, but Ginny has a few good qualities. :aww:) and it'll be interesting to see how their relationship plays out in the movie. :nod: Here's the trailer for your enjoyment if you're interested:

Okay, by now, a number of members here already has the teaser trailer up, but I just couldn't resist putting it up myself. It's the teaser trailer for Disney's The Princess And The Frog. It looks like it's going to be a fantastic movie and I can't wait until it comes out. :w00t!: The animation looks truly state of the art. Here's the trailer, I'm sure you'll like it!

Next is the trailer for the movie I'm sure all you fans of Edward Cullen are screaming for. :D Even though I haven't read Twilight yet, I plan to, and the movie version looks awesome! I heard a lot of fans were upset about choice of actors so play the characters, but come on, give them a chance. You might be surprised at the job they do. ;) Here's the trailer:

When I first read about and saw the trailer in the theaters, I was completely blown away. Now just by the imagery, but the music, characters..everything. It's Watchmen. I have not read the graphic novel yet, but I did do a bit of research, and it's safe to say it's a cult classic. :excited: I do plan on seeing it. I hear there's some trouble with copyrighting with Fox, but hopefully that'll be resolved. Here's the trailer:

Now, you fans have heard the rumors, prayed, hoped, bit your nails that this is true, and after looking around...I found that it IS true! The live action version of one of the most popular anime is just about wrapped up. Yes, it's Dragon Ball. :faint: I don't know when the release date will be, but you can read all about it here:

And last but not least, one of the most closely guarded secrets out there is no longer a secret. The official trailer for the movie Tron 2 was released during Comic-Con, and judging by the reaction, fans are LOVING it! There isn't much of the trailer online, but I did manage to find a somewhat decent one. Check it out:

Okay, most of you members here are a bit young to know or remember when the original Tron movie came out...heck I myself was pretty young when it did, so you might not know what the heck the trailer is about, or Tron. So to help out, here's the trailer to the original Tron movie, and hopefully that'll get you all interested and get the DVD or video:

Cool, huh? I haven't seen that movie in years. I think it came out about 1983 or '84, I'm not sure. ^^; Anyways, that's all the movie updates I have so far. I hope you all enjoyed. As for my gallery and stories...well, I do plan on uploading a NEW story, but I wanted to write a bit more. I also went through all my stories again and fixed up some MORE typos and spelling errors I found, as well and rearranged a few sentences here and there to make them make more sense. Man, I can't believe how hard writing can be, especially when you have no editors. :dead: Oh well, such is the life of a writer. :D Oh, and before I forget...to make my Deviant Art site a little more interesting, I've decided to do what others have done here....do a "site of the month" journal. It doesn't seem too hard...I look around, find a site here that I like, and talk about what I like about it. I have a few that I already found. :nod: I'll do that every first or 2nd of the month, so look out for it. Okies then, that's about it with me. Nothing much new in the gallery until I get some more fanart. Thanks for reading, and I'll be sure not to let another month pass before posting again. :giggle: :wave:

Wow, just saw "The Princess & The Frog" trailer...I may have to see that one. Although on a side note though, it Disney almost 20 years to catch up with Ginax's "Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water".:lol:
Nice to see they finally caught up! :nod: I just hope they decide to do it more often, if this project goes over in a big way.

Oh I loved Nadia: The Secret Of Blue Water! :excited: I have the whole VHS collection. I'm pretty sure that Disney will continue 2D animation. It's a sure bet that Princess And The Frog will do well. Just you wait and see. ;)

I have the dvd box set, although I perfer Japanese dialogue w/subtitles, I liked voice actors (oddly enough) on the vhs release better than the newer dub. I'm hoping it does well, but Lilo & Stitch is still my Disney fave.:lol:

Hmmm...if I have to pick, I'd say Aladdin is my fave Disney movie...followed by The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. :aww: I wish Disney would make a movie about a angel princess though. :shrug: I like angels much better than mermaids. :giggle:

Tron 2? Really? I remember how I loved the original Tron when I was so young and it was one of the first movies to include computer-generated special effects. I still have that TRON yellow cycle toy. :)
Disney movies do tend to work best with me and I recently saw Incrediles and it was great. :) Of course, Little Nemo one is a delight too.
My parents had been on a cruise to the Virgin Islands last month and the pictures are neat. :)
Expand the summer? I vote NAY! :giggle: The summer is always busiest season for me. ^^;

Yep, that's right, Tron 2. :aww: But it'll be a while though. The official websites say it won't be out until at least around 2011. Bummer. ^^; I like I said, I was young myself when it first came out, but I had a great time seeing it on DVD. :nod: I loved Finding Nemo! :D My aunt has the pictures I took in the Virgin Islands, sorry. :shrug: Hopefully she'll email me them. No extended Summer? Come on, at least for just one year. :giggle:

I still couldn't get over with my fondness for those seagulls going Mine! Mine! Mine! Mine! I think one of them sneaked into my Pacificators manga. ;)

Yes, I remember that scene! :giggle: They acted like a few HUMANS that I know. :paranoid: I'm really excited about Toy Story 3 coming out though! :D

Oh, there is Toy STory 3 coming soon? The last two Toy Story movies are great. :) It's kind of funny how I tend to find animated movies/series to be better than live action movies. ^^;

Oh, I could use some descriptions of your characters for Chibi-Angels fanarts or will "Party Time for the Girls" be good for reference?

Yeah, I like some animated movies too rather than live action. But personally...I'm the biggest fan of old time Hollywood movies, like from the 1930's and '40's. :) I could sit and watch them all day. :thanks: Here is the most accurate pics of the girls from Dark Fires:

That should definitely help. Let me know if you have any more questions. ;)
